What do you think of this Christmas tree? It is so beautiful that it is a shame to eat it, however, it is delicious and your children will love it. In We explain how to make it step by step.

The pancakes or crepes admit many combinations, both sweet and savory, but at Christmas we can unfold our imagination and create dishes as original as this pancake in the shape of a Christmas tree.

  • 200 gr. wheat flour
  • 250 ml. whole or skim milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (soup) of butter or margarine
  • A pinch of salt and margarine
  • Whipped cream
  • 200 gr of dark chocolate
  • Colored sugar balls
  • Strawberries

1. Mix the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. In the center of the mixture make room to add the yolks (without the whites), the butter and the milk. Mix until you get a homogeneous dough. Add the whites until stiff and add them to the mixture. Streak the chocolate (or cocoa if you prefer) and add it.

2. Make the pancakes in a waffle iron so that they are squared. Make some bigger than others.

3. To assemble the tree, cut the pancakes into triangles and put them one on top of the other (from largest to smallest). For the trunk, cut a rectangular piece of pancake.

4. Top the tree with a piece of strawberry cut in the shape of a star and place a sugar ball in each square of the pancake. Merry Christmas!
