Learning to be independent
Although the requirements set for a child before admission to kindergarten are different, the truth is that a child must demonstrate basic independence. The basis is the ability to eat, dress, as well as communicate physiological needs. Even if all these skills have already been mastered, kindergarten allows you to consolidate them in a natural way.
The basic social group is family. However, for the child's development, it is very important for the toddler to be among peers, meet different people, learn to make contacts. Kindergarten is also a place where a few years old learns how to solve conflicts. It is here that the first children's friendships and dislikes are born, the child says who he likes to play with and who he does not, and interestingly in these matters may be unstable and inconsistent. However, any experience - both nice and unpleasant, like the fight for crayons - is very important for the child.
Learning to cooperate
Increasingly, children are brought up as only children or in families where there is a large age difference between children. It happens that due to a lack of time or possibilities of parents, the toddler has limited contact with other children. Lonely fun, in turn, does not teach cooperation. Meanwhile, in kindergarten, the toddler has good conditions to learn to cooperate with other children and observe the rules that govern the behavior of others.
Learning to tolerate
Various children go to kindergarten. They often look different, behave differently, have different needs, different families. The child can observe these differences and accept them. It is also a good excuse to learn about a different culture.
Learning to share
In kindergarten, children learn to share. They have to wait their turn, answer questions, wait for the babysitter's free time, understand that other children also have their rights and needs.
Better preparation for school
Children in kindergarten are usually more confident, better prepared to go to school. They have time to adapt in kindergarten, which is why going to school is generally easier. Which, of course, does not immediately mean that children staying at home will have difficulties in this regard.
Preschooler is used to making new contacts. Usually, he is not afraid of strangers, he can find himself faster in the new reality.
Not every parent will learn the rules in practice. Very often, mom or dad cleans toys after a toddler, breaks pre-set rules, allows sweets before dinner, etc. He often does it from fatigue and helplessness. In the kindergarten, for the institution to function, there must be inviolable rules that are not broken. The preschooler must adapt to the top-down plan of the day and take into account the recommendations of childminders, without room for negotiations.
The need for comprehensive development of the child is being talked about more and more. It is easier to provide them in kindergarten than every day at home, where parents have to face many responsibilities. Kindergarten is a time for fun and learning, art classes, singing, dancing, swimming, learning languages, songs, rhymes, going to the theater, zoo and many others. It's a great time to stimulate the imagination and use of energy.
It is worth ensuring comprehensive development at this stage, because as it has been proven many times, children develop the fastest between the first and the fifth year of life. The time when a toddler is about three years old is therefore the most suitable as a moment to send him to kindergarten.
Of course, kindergarten is not all pluses - read.
